The Right of the Child.

The Right of the Child includes:

1.The right to an adequate standard of living;
2.The right to education; and
3.The right to day to day care.

Our responsibility for The Right of the Child

As an Institution we need to acknowledge that in decisions affecting the child and of his or her needs these must come first. The Institution in 1888 decided that. as a principle. we should give financial assistance to the orphans of our deceased Brethren and Sisters. and so the Lord Enniskillen Memorial Orange Orphan Society was founded.

Today the Society continues to stress The Right of the Child to develop his or her full potential within their family and community and in their upbringing in a Christian environment within the Protestant faith. The aims of the Lord Enniskillen Memorial Orange Orphan Society is to give:

Their Rights to be Met

In giving the child Their Rights means meeting their needs and giving them and their families the proper resources for their care. To meet these needs we as a Society must continue to make our Grants realistic.

We, as a Society care about our children and young people and we are moving out in faith and love to meet our commitments. but we need your help. As an Institution. a Christian response is required more than ever if we are to respond to the needs of children, young people and families.

Our Response

Your help is needed to help us to maintain our commitment. Over 6,950 helped since 1888, please help us to help many more in a Christain and fraternal way by:

•Thinking: about the needs of children and young people of Members of our Institution and how you can practically help these families.

•Praying: for the children and young people we help and for the many lone parents of our Institution.

•Giving: please help us by giving a donation to our work. You can also help by giving donations as Memorials, also donations in lieu of Floral Tributes. Remember also the work of the Lord Enniskillen Memorial Orange Orphan Society by considering a Legacy.

"Inasmuch as ye have done it onto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me"
